The Pipe & Fitting scaffold (commonly called tube & coupler scaffold) is a traditional system with a long history. With the scaffolding pipes and the fittings used to connect the pipes, the scaffolding system can be easily set up to the specified height and width. The vertical tubes are connected to the horizontals by the right-angle couplers (also named double couplers), while the diagonal bracing pipes are attached to the scaffold via swivel clamps. This kind of scaffold is stable and flexible for usage, but it is not as quick as the other system scaffolds set up at the construction site.
WanChengTai has the auto welding line for the scaffolding tubes in the factory together with the tube galvanizing production lines. And we manufacture drop forged scaffolding couplers instead of the pressed ones. We apply different tests to the couplers for each production batch to guarantee the couplers we manufactured to meet the scaffolding standards, such as EN74, BS1139, AS/NZS1576, etc.
